straight up creamy cacao recipe

2 Tbsp cacao

1 cup of hot water

Sweetener of choice - maple syrup, honey, coconut sugar.

OPTIONAL You can add different spices or essential oils. My personal favourite is a few drops of wild orange oil giving it a Jaffa flavour mmmm.

TIP Adding a pinch of cayenne pepper will help activate the cacao.

DIRECTIONS Blend all ingredients together on highest setting for about 1 minute to achieve a creamy consistency ( please be aware if you are using a normal blender allow the water to cool slightly before mixing)

Alternatively this can be done on the stovetop or using a stick mixer.

Doms choc banana smoothie recipe

1 large frozen banana

2 tbsp of cacao

1 tbsp of peanut butter

1 cup of coconut water

DIRECTIONS

Blend all ingredients in a food processor until combined.

The mothers brew recipe

- 1 cup of Coconut/Almond Milk
- 1 Table spoons of shaved Cocoa
- 1 Tablespoon of Honey
- 1/4 Teaspoon of Ginger
- 1/4 Teaspoon of Cinnamon
- A tiny crack of Pepper (just enough to activate the turmeric)
& feel free to add any medicinal mushroom if you feel called, and measure all spices with love!

Start boiling the kettle. Once the kettle has boiled pour in a splash of the hot water into a the pot along with all ingredients (about 1cm deep). Bring to boil until mixture thickens (it should look like thick bubbly melted chocolate) then add the milk of choice and heat to desired temperature.

This recipe works best with Australia's Own Almond Barista.

This recipe taste like Christmas in a cup, delicious.
